I really love Lindsey Jacobellis and i want to snowboard just like her. Shaun White is my favorite male snowboarder. I hope to be a pro one day, but i have the same questione, what makes a professional change from an amateur to a pro?

I picked up snowboarding 2 years ago on my 20th birthday and since then I can''t get enough. My heart deeply wants to continue but I fear that i may be too old to try and become a pro and that i may just have to stick to snowboarding for fun. I''m 22, is that too old to make a career out of it?
