Burton: Women's Lexa Snowboard Binding - Created for aggressive all-mountain riders, Burton's Women's Lexa remains one of the best choices for intermediates and advanced snowboarders seeking a comfortable fit with plenty of response potential. It features a short-glass fiber/nylon composite baseplate that gives you a balance of precision when you're competitive and flexibility for the times when you're kicking back on the mountain. Designed with a more power potential and response than Burton's entry-level Stiletto snowboard binding, the Lexa is an ideal choice for aggressive female all-mountain riders who want comfort and performance with a shape that's designed to fit female feet. The Lexa remains Burton's original women's snowboard binding, but the continued improvements make it an evolving example of excellence that can't be touched by any unisex snowboard binding. It features a EVA padded short glass fiber/nylon composite baseplate that's stiffer than the Stiletto for enhanced performance. A QuikFLAD™ adjustment on the back of the female-specific Lexa Hi-Back lets you dial in your heel-edge response to match your terrain and all-mountain attitude. This season Burton expanded their Capstrap feature beyond their top-end performance snowboard bindings and included other offerings such as the Lexa. This version of the Capstrap has a 3D contoured shape with Grip Fit that molds to your boot toe, pushing your heel back firmly into the binding while holding the foot down for better response. Because the Capstrap is ergonomic, you get a great fit without painful pressure points--and that's a big change from the days of cranking down conventional toe straps until your toes turn numb. The Grip Fit element also gives the Lexa an extra power and response element that's not available on Burton's Stiletto snowboard binding. Another nice feature is the new tool-free strap length adjustment, a telescoping innovation that does away with the need for cut adjustments with sharp knives or shears prior to riding (and also means that you can try different snowboard boot designs without coming up too short on strap).
