DaveMcCaul, here at The House, talking about the Sessions Gridlock Snowboard Pants. Really good bang for the buck on this garment, as most of the Sessions stuff is.
The shell fabric on this one is going to be a 10,000/10,000 for the waterproof and breathability rating. Starting off, at the bottom, here, you're going to have a really nice boot gaiter. It does feature a neoprene stretch panel to move with you as you sit down, strap in, sit down in the chair lift, or fall, as we all do, from time to time. This one does have the ghetto slits to allow it to go over the boot a little bit better. Cargo pockets on the side are bellowed so you can put a lot of stuff in there. You can easily fit a pair of gloves, or, you know, what have you, in the pockets. The vent on the Session stuff is super nice. You've got a full-length, mesh-covered vent. It goes from the inside of one knee to the inside of the other, right across the crotch, which is going to be the hottest part of the body for most guys.
The side pockets, here, are going to be fleece-lined. Nice, to keep your hands warm, if you've got your gloves off. Glove pocket features a glove holster, in the bottom. Flip that around and you can have your gloves right at your side. Right pocket features the key-clip. Keep your car key safe. You're not going to lose it, when you fall. On the back you've got two zippered and Velcroed pockets. Really safe for keeping your wallet, or what have you. Other than that, a secret pocket, right here, in the fly. It's going to.. You know what to put in there. We also have the Recco Avalanche Recovery System. It's, basically, going to be a reflector that's going to kick that Morse signal to the search unit, when they're looking for you, after you get buried by the avalanche. It's got waist tab adjustments, up here. Bring it in if you have a little extra waist material. On this one, you've got fleece in the butt, fleece in the knees, hanging mesh lining on the rest of it.
A really good pant, for not too much money. A good way to get out there and experience the snow - the Sessions Gridlock Snowboard Pants.
