To keep you from feeling like an icicle, the Forge is insulated with an 80/60g zonal insulation: 80g in the body for optimal core warmth, and 60g in the sleeves as to not restrict movement. 2L Microshield material resists water and breathes exceptionally well. Foursquare also made the Forge longer for coverage (won't ride up); the asymmetric waterproof zipper stays out of your face and keeps moisture from creeping in.
