With weekend camps in major cities across the United States, Zephyr Camp Snowboard allows you to learn close to home, with professional instruction and proper equipment, and in the company of other adults and families. Why Zephyr Camp Snowboard
Participating in Zephyr Camp Snowboard is the safest and most effective way to learn. You will receive quality instruction in a safe and relaxed environment.
- Multiple Days of Expert Instruction. Zephyr Camp Snowboard takes place on a Saturday and Sunday and offers three hours of professional instruction each day. All our instructors are certified by the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. In addition, each camp is scheduled to provide rest time between lessons and plenty of time for you to practice on your own.
- We don’t take safety lightly. We have small group sizes, often with a ratio of five students per instructor. We do our best to coordinate groups according to experience and ability to best accommodate your needs. Zephyr Camp Snowboard strongly recommends the use of helmets and other protective gear such as wrist guards while on the snow. We have made this easy by offering Leedom Helmets for use at each camp and the opportunity to purchase a helmet prior to your camp for advanced shipping to your home, at a significantly discounted rate.
- For Participants of All Ages. Zephyr Camp Snowboard is designed for adults of all ages. Children under 18 years of age are welcome if accompanied by a participating adult. Bring a friend or sign up for camp with your child!
- Convenience. Zephyr Camp Snowboard has multiple locations across the country, making it easy to find a location near you. Plus, you have the convenience of our one-stop website where you can sign up and have all your questions answered online. Once you are registered, you will receive a Pre-Camp Information Packet that is full of helpful information regarding your commitment to learning to snowboard, including directions to and from the resort; equipment details; suggested preliminary preparedness (clothing, physical, educational); details on when and how you will gain your lift tickets and rental equipment, etc.

Recommended Ages: Zephyr Camp Snowboard is designed for adults and families. In other words, kids under age 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by a participating adult. We recommend kids be age 12 or older to participate in the camp.
Poor Weather or Lift Closures: All Zephyr Camp Snowboard Weekends have a scheduled backup date taking place on the weekend following the scheduled weekend. If one or both days of the original Camp are cancelled due to poor weather or resort closure, we will reschedule the missed day during the backup weekend. Please keep this date reserved on your schedule. In the event you are not able to make the makeup date, you will receive a credit for either 50% (one day missed) or 100% (two days missed) of the camp fee good on any Zephyr Camp Snowboard or Zephyr Adventures trip in the same calendar year or the year following. To receive your credit, you must let us know before the scheduled Camp date if you cannot attend the backup dates.
