Shawnee Peak
Big, beautiful and located just one hour from Portland, 20 minutes east of North Conway and 2˝ hours from Boston, Shawnee Peak offers more than 40 trails, four gladed areas of all ability levels, two terrain parks, a 400' halfpipe, five lifts, 98 percent snowmaking and an unprecedented big-mountain experience combined with small-town friendliness and value.
Trails and Routes
Shawnee Peak has one of the LARGEST lit Park/Pipe Combos in New England! Open 9am-9pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-10pm Friday, 8:30am-10pm Saturday and 8:30am-4:30pm Sunday.
Our Halfpipe is a full 400' long and 44' from lip to lip - a perfect size!
The Terrain Park is always changing! Our park rangers listen to the Park users and build elements based on YOUR input! Located front and center next to the base lodge, the Park is in the perfect spot to see and be seen!
The Grommet Garden is a new beginner park for those just learning to spin and jump. Located between West Slope and Happiness Is, the Grommet Garden is a great place to learn the art of jib!
Super Hits Sundays - don't forget to participate in our season-long series in the Park and Pipe. Super Hits Sundays are sponsored by WCYY - Portland's Rock Alternative. Starting January 2, 2005, Super Hits are every other Sunday and almost EVERYONE walks away with a prize. Register at noon (if you're under 18, you must have a parent WITH YOU to sign a release form). Event starts at 1:00pm. Take as many runs through the Park or Pipe as you can and the riders and skiers judge each other. It's a great way to compete without the competition!
