Sunset Ski and Snowboard Rentals

Sunset has been providing tuning and rental services since 1975. We are one of the last independent, locally and family owned business in the Aspen/Snowmass area.

We are a Head exclusive shop. We carry all the top of the line Head/Tyrolia skis, snowboards and bindings. Customers can demo the top of the line equipment and then buy with two days of demos credited to the purchase.

We carry a line of Head sport rentals, Head boots (we use retail boots for rentals), Giro helmets and Lekis adjustable poles. We carry the other necessary accesories for your skiing experience; Rocky Mountain Sunscreen and lip balm, Turle Fur Tecno Fleece Gators, Thurlo socks and an assortment of Dominator pocket waxes for those on the hill needs.

Sunset is one of the last to tune the old fashion way. Skis and snowboards are still flat filed and dialed in by hand. We then finish the ski with a structure from a diamond stone on our Montana Combi tuning machine. We use Dominator waxes to finish the process and give the customer the fastest, smoothest ride possible.

Head demo package is $55 per day including boots and poles. Skis only $45 per day.
Head premium package(last two seasons Head demos) is $45 per day including boots and poles. Skis only $35 per day.
Head sport package is $30 per day including boots and poles. Skis only $20 per day.
Kids package $24 per day including boots and poles.
Premium, Sport and Kids packages will receive a 20% discount for 3 days and a 30% discount for 5 days.
Helmets; Adults $10 per day and Kids $6 per day with applicable discounts applied
Boots; Adults $18 per day and Kids $10 per days with applicable discounts applied
