Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort, 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet at the summit. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a necessity in the high altitude sun. The weather conditions can change rapidly so be prepared with extra clothing and goggles. Clothing need not be elaborate, or even designed for skiing, but a wool hat, warm gloves or mittens, and underclothing are musts. Recognize your own limitations. If you get tired or cold, stop for a while.

All facilities including ski patrol, ski school, rentals, sport shop, restaurant, bar and picnic building are open. Lift tickets are currently $38.00 for adults and $25.00 for children and seniors until further notice.
SKI & SNOWBOARD TRAILS & ROUTES
General    Wolf Creek's six lifts service incredibly beautiful terrain, over 1,600 acres. The Magic Carpet is a moving conveyor lift for the Wolf Pup Program. The Nova Lift services beginner terrain for children and new skiers.

The Dickey Chairlift services primarily beginner and intermediate terrain. The Bonanza and Treasure Triple Chairlift service intermediate and expert slopes. The new Alberta Chairlift replaces the snowcat shuttle that served the Water Fall area. This unique area is beautiful and adventuresome; full of incredible glades and changing terrain. Predominantely tree skiing and boarding, these 1,000 acres have a few groomed trails for intemdiates'interests and enjoyment.
  • Obey all posted instructions
  • Ask for assistance if you are unfamiliar with the lifts.
  • Slow down before approaching the entrance to a lift.
  • Move quickly away from unloading areas.
Cross-country Skiing  Wolf Creek has nearly 10 kilometers of cross country trails. To get there take the ski road at the end of the lower parking lot to Alberta Park. A 4 kilometer loop goes around the natural meadows. An additional 6 kilometer loop takes you down to Alberta Reservior and back through the trees. Tracks are groomed regularly for both classical and skate skiers. Snowshoers are welcome. Please clean up after your dogs. Use of the cross country trail is compliments of Wolf Creek Ski Area — no charge. Please allow enough time to complete the tour well before dark. This area is not patrolled — please take a friend.
