SKI & SNOWBOARD TRAILS & ROUTES
Cross-country Skiing  Crabbe Mountain is at the center of a 20-kilometer cross-country touring trail system which consists of two major trails and a number of smaller loops. The main trail is 8 kilometres in length and is groomed, depending on conditions, with a single track setter. Beginning at the lodge, it drops gradually over 200 meters to the valley bottom. The steepest continuous grades range between 6 and 7%. The last 4 kilometers follow the valley and the end at the bottom of the chair lift. There, skiers can ride the lift free-of-charge or make the 15 minute climb up Greg's Way, on of Crabbe Mountain's gentlest slopes.

We are now happy to provide some new beginner loops that start behind the Crabbe Mountain Lodge. They are gentle trails through mixed forest land.

The trails offer spectacular forest scenery, including mature hardwood and pine forests, extensive plantations and beaver ponds. It also offers a spectacular view of Crabbe Mountain.

The trails pass through private properties, Provincial Crown Lands, and J.D. Irving Company Limits and were cut by a group of 6 senior citizens - The Backwoods Senior Citizens Cross Country Ski Trail Cutters Association. The members are Jan Bonga, Doug Eldt, Doug Embree, Bud Irving, Murray Neilson and Jules PicotFrom our new Beginner Trails behind the lodge you can connect to the Slippery Mitten Cross Country Trails. These trails are privately owned and operated by are very well maintained.

Safety first. Always ski with a partner, be sure to tell someone where you'll going and when you'll return.

When you return from a day on our Cross Country Trails please stop by the Ticket Office and give us a trail report so we can pass it on to other skiers
Snowboarding  Crabbe Mountain - home of New Brunswick's highest veritcal 853 ft. - features a terrain park in addition to it's awesome riding and cruising trails. The new terrain park will add some excitement to your day.
