Sun Peaks Resort
With over 3,600 acres of terrain to explore and light dry snow, Sun Peaks is all about maximizing your vacation experience. Epic powder days experienced on unbelievable terrain are the ultimate combination. In a matter of minutes, you can sweep down from an open, powder filled bowl into the trees of your choice or the perfectly groomed run that you crave.
Variety is the name of the game here. There are 117 runs to choose from, spread over the second largest skiable terrain in B.C. With three mountains to choose from, Sun Peaks offers terrain for every level of skier and boarder. Whether it’s Tod Mountain’s open bowls, Sundance’s perfectly groomed cruisers, or Morrisey’s glades, we’ve got terrain you’ll love! Then there’s our village – slopeside, ski-in, ski-out accommodation, restaurants, shops and a cozy village layout.
Tod Mountain
Go face to face with the Chief on Tod Mountain, sweeping down through an open bowl that has inspired more than four decades of “Whoo-hoo!” on powder days. Tod is also host to fantastic glade skiing, openly spaced trees as steep or as gentle as you please.
Sundace
Next to Tod sits Sundance Mountain, home to some of our best groomed runs. Our award-winning grooming creates the perfect corduroy that allows you to ski the dry powder snow easily, even better without the crowds. You have to feel it to believe it. The runs are long and winding with tons of variation. For beginners, intermediates or for those that enjoy the half-pipe and terrain park, Sundance rewards every level of skier and rider with variety.
Mt. Morrisey
Proving three is always a party and never a crowd is the newest addition to Sun Peaks’ terrain, Mt. Morrisey. Its award winning layout features open glades, giving skiers and riders the sensation of flying effortlessly around the trees. It is also home to some of our steepest terrain — those butterflies in your stomach never felt better!

Sun Peaks Resort is a 3,600-acre playground full of limitless possibilities. Tour the area on a snowmobile or see it from behind a team of sled dogs – you won’t find a more enthusiastic team of tour guides! Or try a snowshoe tour for the chance to tip-toe through the foliage and see a side of the resort usually reserved for the area’s wildlife. At Sun Peaks, you don’t have to go far to have fun: The Kids Adventure Park, horsedrawn sleigh rides and tubing are all located near the village. Kids can try out Mini-Z snowmobiles or fly down the mountain on a cushion of air in the new slopeside Tube Park.
For something a little different, hitch a ride in one of our grooming machines. Our Cat Trax program is one of few that lets you be part of the action. And when it’s all said and done, nothing is more relaxing than time spent in a hot tub or outdoor pool at the Sports Centre. |
