We have awesome dry powder and easy access to unbelievable terrain. Mother Nature's Chinooks keep Castle Mountain Resort (CMR) in fantastic condition. The warm downslope wind over the Rocky Mountains brings us deep, dry champagne powder and grooms the upper slopes for days of superior snow conditions.

CMR has many hotels, motels, B&Bs, vacation homes and hostels providing a mixture of accommodations for all types of guests. The down home, relaxed atmosphere at the area and this variety of accommodations makes the Castle an ideal place to bring the family. The best Ski'n Sleep packages in western Canada are offered at the Castle. All packages are per adult including a lift pass & accommodation but not taxes.

WHAT A MOUNTAIN IT IS!
'Best Kept Secret in the West"

Untracked powder, short lift lines and wide open spaces to mention a few of this mountains stellar qualities. Castle is a diamond in the rough. We have miles of groomed runs, natural half pipes, deep fresh powder, and perfect fall lines. Acre upon acre of terrain is served up in a snow sliding smorgasbord, waiting to be devoured.

With 2833 vertical feet and over 1600 acres you'll be in heaven all day long. Known as the 'Best Kept Secret in the West', Castle boasts the lightest, driest powder skiing anywhere. Make your own tracks and enjoy some of the best freeride terrain in Canada.

At present much of the terrain at CMR is a challenge to most beginner and intermediate winter enthusiasts. Plans to expand onto the neighbouring mountain and its much easier North ridge are presently on hold, as CMR addresses the concerns of a local environmental group.
