At the Planet sports DiedamsJam, bluebird, good snow conditions and a high riding level brought the Pleasure Diedamspark to a boil. Jonel Fricke, Roland Tschoder and Birgit Rofner were popping the winners� corks at the end of the day!

An impressive number of riders managed to arrive safely at the Pleasure Diedamspark last Saturday, 11th of February, the day the Planet Sports DiedamsJam took place for the first time. The numerous riders from Austria and Germany obviously didn�t want to miss this event. Park designer Simon Abel and his crew spared no troubles and conjured up a creative park set-up. Particularly the new multi jib obstacle in the end section of the contest line demanded a lot of creativity from the riders and showed that airtime isn�t the most important part of spectacular stunts!

Bluebird, sunshine, chilling beats and not least the tasty barbecue provided by the mountain railways Diedamskopf let you forget about the cold weather conditions quickly and were definitely one of the reasons for the good vibes that prevailed among the riders as well as the spectators in the chill area.

In the gripping finals, Jonel Fricke (GER) secured the victory in the MEN�s battle with a stylish run, just before Flo Galler and David Loibl. Among the LADIES�, Birgit Rofner (AUT) demonstrated best how to shred a park: �When I saw the park for the first time, I thought that this was going to be a great contest on the medium line! The weather was awesome, the park was perfectly shaped, my two runs were not the best ones in my life, but it was a cool contest! In my opinion, all the girls did a great job!�

Especially the ROOKIES� high riding level not only impressed the judges, but also the audience with their stunning flips and spins. The first place among the ROOKIES was awarded to Roland Tschoder (AUT).

Jonel Fricke also won the �Best Trick� category with a stylish Inverted 540: �The Planet Sports DiedamsJam was an awesome contest and I really enjoyed it. I�ve been here one time before and I�m really looking forward to the opening of the pro kickers. Then I�ll come back for a shooting! At the Jam I had a gripping battle with Flo � on a friendly basis of course. I was all the more happy about my victory and the Best Trick award!�

The Planet Sports DiedamsJam 2012 really was a hell of a show and we�re not the only ones who are already looking forward to next time, when they�ll say: �I hope you like jammin� too!�
