Burn Snowpark Rally 2011: Get your first mission!

THURSDAY, 16 DECEMBER 2010

You often take your camera along when you’re ripping the snowpark with your crew? The BURN SNOWPARK RALLY in cooperation with VÖLKL is the perfect contest for you! The procedure is simple: first of all, you have to get your first mission from www.snowparkrally.com where Völkl snowboarder Michi “Stani“ Stanschitz (AUT) and Völkl freeski pro Nico Zacek (GER) will tell you what to do. Then, you visit the snowpark of your choice and live out your creativity: look for good spots and take shots that comply with the mission. Upload the pics to the Snowpark Rally website – mission accomplished! It doesn’t matter if you use an SLR or a simple digi cam, everything is allowed. The Burn Snowpark Rally is not about taking technically perfect pictures like the pro photographers do but about realizing an exceptional idea!

The first mission will end on January 17 2011. After that, the further two missions will be proclaimed one after another. An expert jury of Völkl riders and professional photographers Lorenz Holder, Sami Tuoriniemi and Klaus Polzer will judge the uploaded pictures.

Each mission’s winning crews will be invited to the end-of-season Burn Snowpark Rally finals in Leogang, Austria, from April 7 to 10 2011. There, the crews will accomplish the winter’s last mission together with some Völkl pro riders and professional photographers. The victorious crews will join the Völkl pros at the All Inclusive Völkl Team Week 2011. Additionally, there’s a load of non-cash prizes up for grabs. For the first time, the pic with the most “I like” hits at Facebook will be rewarded with the public award: the winners will get a Burn Goodie Bag!
