Vail Resorts Epic Pass at Ski & Snowboard Show
TUESDAY, 7 SEPTEMBER 2010
Ft. Lauderdale, FL - In a first for South Florida ski and snowboard enthusiasts, the Vail Resorts Epic Pass will be available for purchase at the Ft. Lauderdale Ski and Snowboard Show. The Epic Pass is valid for the entire 2010-2011 season and includes unlimited, unrestricted access to six world-class mountains:
- Vail, an extraordinary ski experience like no other;
- Beaver Creek, a five-start resort with a family atmosphere;
- Breckenridge, one of the top-rated ski resorts in North America;
- Keystone, a place high above the world in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains;
- Heavenly, Lake Tahoe’s premiere ski and mountain resort;
- Arapahoe Basin, a legendary ski facility operating from October to June.
The Vail Resorts Epic Pass is a passport to the best, most exciting destinations on every ski and snowboard map. “Miami football fans long for Canes season tickets but for winter sports fans, this is the ticket of choice because it’s like getting six season tickets all in one pass," says David Mahoney, Marketing Director for Peter Glenn Ski & Sports. “We are thrilled to offer the Epic Pass at this year’s Show. “
Six ski-with-a friend discount tickets, plus $20 off of your equipment or clothing purchase of $100 or more from Peter Glenn Ski & Sports at the show, are included with the adult Epic Pass. Prices start at $319 for children and $619 for adults, less than the senior rate at most of the resorts and certainly more affordable than many Hurricanes season ticket packages. More information is available at this year’s show and at http://www.peterglenn.com/events.
The Ft. Lauderdale Ski & Snowboard Show, now in its 21st year, will be held at the Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Additional activities include the Columbia Sportswear rock-climbing wall, a ski-snowboard simulator, a bounce house and a children’s area. Hours are Friday (October 1) 1:00PM to 9:00PM and Saturday and Sunday (October 2 and 3) 10:00AM to 6:00PM. Admission is $5 per person, free for children 16 and under.
