"Morrow snowboards, just like other brands, are offered in the men’s, women’s and children’s divisions. Even with the children’s snowboards, there is a specific core that has been designed with the little ones in mind. Morrow not only caters to the adult snowboarders, they also design for the youngsters and make the equipment that they need to progress to the next level in snowboarding.

Most of Morrow’s snowboards are directional in shape, which is designed with the freeride and freestyle in mind. They also offer a twin shape and a wider snowboard that is perfect for the larger rider. Their snowboards offer a 360 degree edge protection that will protect the snowboard and will give the rider the confidence that they need each and every time that they take the snowboard out. Each Morrow snowboard has a tip to tail wood core that helps to provide stability and pop for the rider.

Morrow snowboards are basically a mid-level price range snowboard. You can usually purchase a fully loaded, state of the art snowboard for as little as $329 plus tax."

Are you searching for a way to help improve your knee stability or to reduce pain when you ski or snowboard?

Introduction : Skiing and snowboarding are one of the most intense activities which a person can do because it uses the entire body to perform. Your legs are one of the areas which are the most frequently used with skiing and snowboarding and they can also be the most easi
ly damaged. The knees, in particular, are subject to extreme injury as they are one of the most delicate areas of the body. By wearing a knee brace, skiers and snowboarders can help to stop a knee injury from getting the best of you!

1.) Injuries on The Slopes

Skiing and snowboarding involves a great deal of twisting and leaning of the body while gliding down the slopes. This action of twisting can often cause damage to your knee and its anatomical structures. This can cause a sprain in the tendons or the ligaments or even potentially cause the patella to become dislocated. If any of these occur, it will stop your knee from supporting the body's weight and can also stop your knee from bending efficiently. In more extreme cases, such as a dislocated kneecap or a torn ligament, the knee may wobble from side to side because the knee can feel very unstable.

2.) Skiing & Snowboarding Knee Braces

Using skiing or snowboarding knee braces can help to hold the knee in a more safe position. A knee support will lock out your ability to move, however. An individual can still have a good range fo motion, unless your physician does not think this is a good idea... The use of a well designed brace will only prevent you from moving your knee in a way which is likely to cause damage.

3.) Knee Supports Can Be Low Profile

Knee supports can be worn directly under your clothing (unless you wear super tight pants etc.) This makes them much more accessible to anyone who is skiing or snowboarding. Currently, knee supports are not so big and bulky, and they are quite effective. This kind of support can help people when they need improved stability and protection.

4.) Affordable Supports

The good news is, knee braces are much more affordable than they once were. If you would like to help protect your knees, then you need to consider getting one of these knee braces to help prevent injuries. Every situation, from slipping and falling to smacking the knee into something could damage this delicate joint and someone who enjoys skiing and/or snowboarding will want to make sure that they knees are always as healthy as can be. This is the reason why knee supports can be a wise investment.

Snowboarding Zone has just released a new section of their website that has all of the basics on Avoiding Snowboard Injuries. This is part of a new community website that is all about Avoiding Snowboard Injuries. Members and non-members can visit this Avoiding Snowboard Injuries page on the Snowboarding Zone website for free at: http://snowboardingzone.org/.

Here is an excerpt f
rom the new Avoiding Snowboard Injuries information webpage:

"First of all, as with any other dangerous sport, make sure that you always wear a helmet. It doesn’t matter what type of snowboarding you do, a helmet can be your best form of protection in case of a wipe out. Head injuries are always serious and you can help to minimize your chances of a head injury if you wear your helmet. If you are planning to do stunts and tricks that involve air, you will want to wear a full face helmet. You can help to minimize your chances of facial fractures, cuts, etc by wearing the proper protective gear.

Another important safety feature in the sport of snowboarding is that of your snowboard bindings. That’s right. If your bindings are not a proper fit to your boots or board if could result in involuntary foot movement which in turn can cause you to wipe out. Make sure that your bindings properly fit your boots and board.

Yet, another important feature is for you to wear a snowboard leash. This will help to keep your snowboard with you in case of an accident."

y fine so is ideal under other layers,” says Managing Director, Rita Patra.

Individually designed, all Patra Silks’ items are created with comfort and affordability in mind. “We’ve been designing silk clothing for a long time and have built up great partnerships with our suppliers, which means we can deliver silk base layer items at better prices. We are continually developing our silk skiwear items, and test them to ensure that they are comfortable and of a really high quality.”

Ski base layer items include a specially designed range of seamless socks to prevent rubbing and sore spots under ski boots, fine and discreet long johns and socks that contain elastane throughout, not just at the top which can cause circulation problems and chafing.
