Actually, Breckenridge is Americas most popular Ski/snowboard resort (owned by Vail Resorts). Vail is Large by acreage, but much of the terrain is over-rated whilst nearby Beaver Creek and Breckenridge or Keystone in summit county (45 mins away) have better terrain without the loooong traverses and brutal one hour trek back to the front of the mountain from best terrain. Parking is expensive at vail. I''ve spent alot of days at Vail, so I''m a little burned out on it,so .... if you''ve never been.... It''s great.
