Announcing Prospect Snowboards For 08/09

TUESDAY, 7 JULY 2009
Submitted By: Mariangela Silvestre

Prospect Snowboards is débuting a new line up for the upcoming winter season. Prospect is based out of Madison Wisconsin with a production facility near Los Angeles California. Our values emphasize craftsmanship and performance in hardware along with good energy and a passion for the culture snowboarding.

Prospect Snowboards will be producing 3 models for the 09/10 season:

The “Passage”, is a twin shaped freestyle board for the rider that wants to ride at the top of their game. With carbon X-beams in the tip and tail, a superfast sintered 4001 SPEEDGRIND base, and full vibration dampening you can be sure the Passage will provide a super fun ride day. Our “Vitality” line is the perfect board for the lighter rider the or Jib mechanic. The wide stance and super light aspen core have a playful ride and will commandeer respect at any Jib session.

Our newest model, the "Tangent" is our reverse camber technology with a concave base. The reverse camber offers a softer flex pattern for a solid feel on rails. The reverse camber also makes this board a dream on powder days with a super rad surf feel. The concave base gives this board the ability to literally pivot because the edges are higher than the base. This gives it a playful feel and breezes through sticky rails.

All Prospect Snowboards are made here in the U.S. by serious craftsman. All models are full sidewall/sandwich design and have our new bamboo/urethane sidewalls for a subtle reminder that every board is handmade and gives a cool retro vibe that looks amazing. All boards use our secret glue that prevents Prospect Snowboards from delaminating and makes every board last. We check every snowboard we make for flawless craftsmanship and it lets us give our riders a killer 2 year warranty.
