Snowboarders Heads to Australia for OZ Open

World class snowboarders are heading out to Australia to participate in the upcoming Burton Australian Open Snowboarding Championships, which is set to kick off this coming September 1. The said event, is the second stop of the 2008 Burton Global Open Series. It will be held at the Perisher Blue Resort, is expected to last until September 5. Some of the leading name in the snowboarding industry are expected to go head to head to vie for the prestigious title as well as the coveted price purse that amounts to AUD$50,000. Some of the riders expected to participate in the said event includes Kevin Pearce, Jamie Anderson, Hannah Teter, Chas Guldemond, Mikkel Bang, Mason Aguirre, Danny Davis, Torstein Horgmo, Markus Malin, and more.
