Mammoth Lakes, CA - Chaz Guldemond continued his winning streak last Saturday as he took home the $10,000 prize at the 2008 West Coast Invitational (WCI) Rail Jam, held at the Village at Mammoth Mountain. He showcased a variety of tricks to the judges and the fans, defeating 18 other world’s best snowboarders including Lucas Magoon, Scotty Vine, Cameron Pierce, and Darrell Mathe.
Guldemond won the WCI, another major event following his win at the Vans Fiesta de la Pipa at Mammoth Mountain Ski area last Friday.
The WCI built a three-and-a-half-story jib setup, lined with a down rail, a kinked rail, and a ledge for sliding. After proclaiming Guldemond as the winner, spectators and fans enjoyed a special concert held at the Canyon Lodge.
