Pellissier, Pietropoli Win at FIS World Cup

France’s Anne Sophie Pellissier and Italy’s Manuel Pietropoli reigned supreme in the Halfpipe contest of the Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup Season. This was held last Sunday, January 27 at the Bardonecchia—Melezet in Italy.
Pellissier finished with a total of 44.5 points, defeating Spain’s Queralt Castellet, who won second place while Sophie Rodriguez, Pellissier’s teammate, got the third spot.
Meanwhile, Pietropoli claimed the top spot of the podium after finishing with 45.5 points. Markus Malin came in second with 44.7 and defending champ Peetu Piiroinen came in third with 43.3.
