World Snowboard Day Kicks Off Dec. 23

Christmas will no longer be the only holiday that is associated with snow and the month of December. Snowboarders worldwide are now anticipating the first ever World Snowboard Day.

The former European special holiday will now be celebrated internationally this coming December 23. Thus, snowboarding enthusiasts all over the globe can now experience this wonderful occasion.

The much awaited event is presented by European Broadsports Industry Manufacturers Association (EuroSIMA). The event is also supported by the World Snowboard Federation as well as various clubs and resorts.

In celebration of the World Snowboard Day, partner resorts will hold various snow sport activities for free. These include lessons in snowboarding as well as product testing, concerts, contests and many more.
