Hang your Board on the Wall with Rixon Boarddock

Boarding is more than a sport, it is a lifestyle. Based on this starting point, Rixon Company developed the Rixon Boarddock. This system makes it possible to hang up your beloved board as the ultimate decoration. So even when you are not using your board, you can still enjoy it hanging on your wall.

Rixon developed an alternative for hooks/grips from the do-it-yourself shops. As the prices of these hooks are low, it is important that they keep their system cheap.

Therefore, Rixon decided to make their product only available by way of the Internet, also they don’t waste any money on expensive and useless packaging, and the assembly guides can be found on www.boarddock.com. This way of working allows them to sell the Boarddock at only € 5 /set.

In order to check that their system really is cheaper, they went to a do-it-yourself shop and bought the materials for hanging up a board. Three rubber covered handles were bought (€ 1,8/piece). As you can see they already exceeded the amount of € 5. This without even adding the costs of the screws and plugs and the movement costs.

The most important advantage of their product is that the board can be fixed with only 2 wall fittings which are very subtle. All boards can be mounted in a horizontal and diagonal way and snowboards even in a vertical way.

The Boarddock is developed in a way that it fits perfectly for different kinds of board (snow-, wake-, kite- and skimboards). A second big advantage is the fact that it is very easy to take your board out of our system and to put it back in later.

About Rixon Company
The first Boarddock was sold on 7th September 2006. It became clear very quicly that there was a lot of interest in a simple and cheap system for hanging up boards. Thanks to articles in various board magazines the Boarddock has started gaining in popularity. Already after a couple of months the system grown into a true success.

Rixon works with few middlemen and is only active on the internet, in this way we are able to offer our product at a very low price. Originally Rixon was only active in Belgium and the Netherlands but it was soon decided to enlargen the market. On 30th August 2007 the new Rixon site was launched. This site, in 3 languages, makes it possible to spread our product over the whole world. The Rixon company makes use of 4 different distribution points.
