Disabled Snowsports Cardrona National Championship
WEDNESDAY, 25 JULY 2007
Adam Hall, NZ paralympian (LW1) again took out the Slalom race in a winning combined time of 65.72. Six sit skiers were in the field of 12 racers, causing fierce competition from the four Koreans and two New Zealand mono skiers.
Second place was taken out by Sang-Min Han from Korea, with third Peter Williams from Auckland. Both are sit skiers.
Storm Blacklock again took out the women's elite slalom race in day two of racing. Carl Murphy, Taranaki, won the Men's Elite snowboarding racing today.
As part of the Disabled Snowsports Festival, all participants are given the opportunity to race, to experience racing, gain experience and compete for the podium places.
The social racing with a slalom race started today.

Nicholas Jose, Auckland, Social Slalom Junior Male
Tara Hurley, Wanaka, Social Slalom Senior Female
Travis Moffat, Christchurch, Social Slalom Senior Male
Blair Nevin, Christchurch, Social Slalom Snowboarding
The Festival continues until Friday, with skiers and boarders taking part in racing, lessons, group clinics to improve skills, free skiing and a week of on-snow and off snow fun and festivities.
