Seventeen-Year Old Nominated to the US Team

Kaitlyn Farrington, a 17-year old Bellevue girl who is a junior at Wood River High School, has been nominated to the US Snowboarding Team.
Farrington, one of the four snowboarding athletes who were elected this 2007-2008 season, will be riding for the Rookie Half pipe Team.
Farrington ranks 11th overall in the USSA national half pipe rankings and sixth overall in slope style. Farrington was also named to the World Junior Team.
