Victoria's alpine resorts have received a good amount of natural snow yesterday. At Falls Creek and Mount Hotham, fifteen centimeters of snow had fallen. Ten centimeters fell at Mount Buller while five centimetres at Lake Mountain, Mount Baw Baw and Mount Buffalo.

Last yea

Millions were spent by Victoria's ski resorts to boost their snow-making equipment by 20 per cent. A cold snap at Hotham, which included a low of minus 4.6 degrees, had made possible the use of the snow-making equipment. The ski season starts on June 9.
