  Snow Joy for Victoria's Alpine Resorts Victoria's alpine resorts have received a good amount of natural snow yesterday. At Falls Creek and Mount Hotham, fifteen centimeters of snow had fallen.   Messler, National Snowboarding Champion Bryan Messler, 20, of Guilford, Connecticut has dominated the U.S. Snowboard Association (USASA) nationals competition held at the Northstar resort in Lake Tahoe, California last April. Vail Teenager to Join U.S. Rookie Squad
  Vail Teenager to Join U.S. Rookie Squad Fourteen-year old Broc Waring has been selected to join the U.S. Snowboarding Freestyle Team's rookie squad. Waring, who is from Vail, Colorado and an eighth-grader at Vail Mountain School, has been participating in halfpipe competitions since he was 11 years old. Winter X Games Set on January Next Year
  Winter X Games Set on January Next Year The next Winter X Games has been officially set on January 24-27, 2008. The event, which includes skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling, will be held at Buttermilk Ski Resort in Aspen, Colorado. Buttermilk Ski Resort will be the host of the Winter X Games until 2010. Seventeen-Year Old Nominated to the US Team
  Seventeen-Year Old Nominated to the US Team Kaitlyn Farrington, a 17-year old Bellevue girl who is a junior at Wood River High School, has been nominated to the US Snowboarding Team. Farrington, one of the four snowboarding athletes who were elected this 2007-2008 season, will be riding for the Rookie Half pipe Team.
