Construction of 2010 Olympic Venues Going Well |

The construction of the venues in Whistler for the 2010 Winter Olympics are going, "exceedingly well," according to www.vancouver2010.com.
Two new venues are currently being constructed - the Sliding Center and the Nordic venue. The Sliding Center will host the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton events of the Winter Games. It is expected to be completed by the summer of next year.

Documentary on Snowboarding History Coming Soon |

Burton NZ Open Kicks Off on August 3-5 |

In two-weeks time some of the world's top snowboarders will be battling it out for the Burton New Zealand Open. Now on its fourth year, this year's competition will be held in Snowpark NZ in the Cardrona Valley on August 3 to 5. The riders will be competing in Halpipe, Quarterpipe and Slopestyle events.
