Registration for New Pipestyle Contest Now Open

TUESDAY, 31 JANUARY 2006

The Sapient-Showcase Showdown will debut on Feb. 24 to 25 at Whistler Blackcomb, Canada. This unique and innovative competition will sport a whole new format dubbed as “Pipestyle” where riders will make their way over tombstones, rails, boxes and spines. The competition will take place at Whistler’s Super Night Pipe.

Sapient, the headline sponsor of the event, has generously given $25,000 for prize money. Furthermore, the following sponsors have contributed a total of $15,000: Anon, RED, Option, Vans, Salomon-Bonfire and 32. A party will be held at GLC after the event.
