Unity Snowboards Snowboarding Gear 2007 - 2008 Overview
It was always our dream to build our own boards -- to come up with a new idea, go into our shop and build it, then take it out to the mountain and ride it. This is what it was all about when we started building snowboards back in 1995, and it's still what it's all about for us today in 2007.
These days we are one of the last board companies that actually builds their own boards. Most companies have someone else make their boards for them in China or wherever. At Unity we've been building our own boards in the heart of the Rocky Mountains for 12 years now because we love what we do. We love riding and we love coming up with strong, lighter, better-performing snowboards.

Origin
The Origin is our true twin park board. It is completely symmetrical in both shape and flex and feature a centered stance. The Origin is perfect for hitting huge jumps, boosting in the pipe, or nailing that tech rail trick you've been dreaming about.
This year, the Origin features our Wood Composite Impact Pads. These are thin pieces of wood veneer that strengthen the board under the binding area. The added strength reduces the possibility of the binding breaking the board from extreme impacts that often occur when riding the park.
Dominion
The Dominion is our classic freeride board. Available in wide and regular widths from 155cm all the way up to 180cm. This is the board to charge any line on any mountain.
The Dominions are directional in shape and flex. Stiffer tails allow the nose to float well in powder and the tail to hold an edge better under pressure.
All Dominion boards feature our proven Carbon Wrapped Core design. We hand wrap Carbon Fiber around the core to create two X designs under each foot increasing the torsional responsiveness of the board.
PinTail
The Pin Tail board design is the ultimate in all-mountain freeriding versatility. Tapered shapes sink the tail while keeping the nose afloat to increase speed in deep snow. This allows the board to respond very quickly and easily in any snow condition imaginable.
The sidecuts of the Pin Tails are tapered to match the narrower tail. This makes them carve turns earlier in the turn initiation, because the sidecut is angled in the direction of the turn. They carve and ride very well on hard pack because of this.
Pride
The Pride is the ultimate do it all directional freestyle board. Directional in shape and flex, which makes them great for freeriding. Deep sidecuts for quick response, which makes them great in the park or pipe. The Pride is a great board for the rider who wants one board to do it all.
We continue to use our proven Carbon Wrapped Core on the Pride. The Carbon Wrap creates two X designs under each foot that give a very snappy and lively feel to the board.
Virgo
The Virgo is our high performance Womens specific board. Virgo boards feature our Light Weight Tri-Axial Fiberglass for reduced board weight and a softer flex pattern. They are directional in shape and flex with a centered radial sidecut. The centered radial sidecut makes the board perform well forward or switch. Deep sidecuts and one Carbon Fiber Stringer running tip to tail allow for a quick and easy ride.
Rise
The Rise boards have the same award winning board shape as the Prides. There is no Carbon Fiber added to the Rise so they have a softer ?ex than the Pride. This makes them a great board for lighter weight riders or riders who like a softer more forgiving feel to their board.
Full-Length wood cores, 2001 Sintered Durasurf base, and our reliable two-year warranty make the Rise a great all terrain board for a great price.
