Northwave Snowboarding Gear 2007-2008 Overview
Northwave, Bakoda, Drake, and Venue have something for everyone. Starting off in 1991 with Northwave Boots, Drake Bindings in 1997, Bakoda Design Logic Accessories in 1998 and Venue Snowboards in 2005, their products have grown and developed into the perfect collection.
Having the full range of products that are designed to interact with the rider and snow in perfect unison is what these brands are all about. NBoots
The top new product of the Northwave 07-08 collection is the new and original NBoot boot, which re-employs the vintage concept but with innovative technical features that come out of the experience and know-how of the Northwave research and development department.
The major technical characteristic of the NBoot model is its inner sock (editor’s note: made with the Northwave Cage System – NCS), which locks the heel so that the ankle can therefore be fixed in position. Combined with a new spectrum of youthful, engaging and cool colours, the NBoot model is available in seven shades of colour and a kid’s model for the youngest enthusiasts.

- Heel Retention System - N.C.S system for ankle perfect locking; 360° Heel; Hold lace loop system wraps around heel to lock
ankle in place.
- Upper Construction - Tri-Layer construction with inside frame for durability, support, and warmth
- Footbed - S1
DTM
The leading innovation of the entire collection is represented by the DTM (men’s) and DL (women’s) models. Used by the team’s Pro Riders, they are both made with the new and original “lo-back” free-style spoiler, which is softer for greater freedom of movement for parks, rails and stiffies, designed to provide versatility in manoeuvres and eliminate any calf bite problems. The DTM model also comes with the new Delta LT (Light) base. It is even lighter in weight, and is made with a new nylon composite hybrid.
