I had read through the dictionary on the info section the other day there, being a newb I thought I better educate myself on the lingo a bit. It was an entertaining read right enough but a little light on things you would actually want to know.
Seemed to be about 100 different ways to insult people and label them with names (e.g. herbert, hoedad, accessory man, etc)
However, I actually wanted to know some definitions for proper terms, like "Cat Track", which as a beginner, I have read before but have no clue what this is.

Never even seen the dictionary here, but that sounds pretty lame.

A cat is the snowcat that grooms the mountain's slopes (pistes). Cat tracks are those narrow runs (almost like a single lane road) that usually cut across the mountain and connect two slopes. The snowcats use it for exactly that, a quick way to traverse from one slope to another.

Let me know if there's anything else you were wondering about.
