I think being well rounded as rider is the best. Being able to handle all conditions and terrain as well as ride pipe and park makes for a better rider even if they don`t excell in one area. I am a backcountry rider at heart, but make sure I spend time in the park as well.

Definitly freeride is my preference, but I dabble in the other realms as well on a regular basis.

for me Freeriding is the best. It is about
mastering an all-round style that will give you the freedom to ride,
carve, and jump on any terrain, without focusing on technical tricks or
speed. In this Snowboarding Style, you will spend most of your time on
the ground and you will be able to utilize all the mountain could offer
- from open terrain, backcountry chutes, to fresh powder and trees.
