Hello:
I am 5 2-4ey and will be doing mostly all mountain freestyle: Please post your feedback and stuff:

Board: 2008 S.W. smalls 143
Bindings: Can some one please tell me about cartels vs missions vs customs? If the cartels are est will they work with my board? If I'm size 8 mens should i get small (smallest boot size -8) or medium(8- something)? Which size would be best? Ps. my feet might get bigger, and I might get taller/heavier.
Boots: Jeremy jones? (09)or shaun whites?(08)

Questions:

How long will the board and bindings last?/What makes them wear out?
How often do you need to wax the board and stuff?(Is rub on or iron better?)

Thank you.

Wow all Burton. Cool...ish not really.

Cartels are more rigid/responsive and have more adjustment options as well as a taller highback, missions are flexy and less bulky, customs are absolutely plain standard bindings.

EST is a specialty product from Burton that you don't want to use with a normal 3-hole board.  They make Cartels that aren't EST.

Since your are going to grow, you should get a medium binding which is still small enough for any size board (your feet are way too small to be worrying about wide snowboards)... you pretty much answered your own question there.

Got nothing to say for boots except for GOD SAKE please go try some boots on.  They DON'T have to be Burton and they DON'T have to be Shaun White's...  THEY HAVE TO BE A BOOT THAT FITS COMFORTABLY ON YOUR FOOT.  You have to actually try a bunch on, don't just try on Shaun White's boot and go "oh, ok it fits".  Walk around in it, let your foot settle into the boot a bit.  Try on a bunch of different boots from a bunch of different companies can't emphasize enough.

Wow, well boards and bindings wear out when you ride them... duh.  Boots go for around 60 days which is just about 6 years of two week shred vacations (of course if you grow out of them before hand new boots for you).  Boards last as long they last, there's no way to really predict how a board will break.  Some can last several years, some a season.  Bindings can last a few seasons if you maintain them (check that everythings tight and together every time you ride, replace the occasional worn out strap/ladder).

Boards can theoretically be waxed EVERY TIME YOU RIDE.  A lot of people moan about "not being pro" blah, blah, but you wax every day so you don't have to second guess all the time about how your board will behave that day.  A really good average number if you want to just make it last maybe once every three days riding... you could even go once a week if you were really lazy.

Ok, thank you alot. Should I get non burton? Everyone tells me to get that. So use rub on wax once every 3 days ish? Is the board ok? I can get it for less than 200 dollars which is pretty cheap compared to the others.

You should put rub on wax on every hour.

I'm talking full on hot wax, that's the only way to go.  Rub on wax is crap.
