My wife's board got ganked this weekend at Keystone. Late in the
afternoon, when there was a mass exodus (should have known better) we
left our boards at the base and went to get a cup of coffee. Came back
from the village and it was gone!
It's a 2008 Never Summer Infinity (Black) with white Burton bindings.
It's a 156. The bindings are the most distinguishing feature - they
are last year's Burton Escapades, but the capstrap and the ankle strap
are from this year's EST. What is interesting about these is that
while all of the binding hardware is silver, the Burton icon on the
capstrap is gold, as is the "Burton" plastic disc on the ankle strap
router. You won't find another pair like them around.
So far here is what has happened:
1. Filed report at Keystone.
2. Have checked craigslist and ebay repeatedly using Snarfer to find different key terms.
We don't have the serial - I hadn't had a chance to send in the warranty.
Not a thing has turned up. I need any other recommendations that
anyone has to try and locate her board. Please don't hijack the
thread, and keep on topic. We really do need your help - thanks!

Sorry to hear that...this is something that occurrs too often and a highly desireable board like a Never Summer is always at risk. Unfortunately, I hold out a lot of hope as the police just do not place high priority on property crimes. I would talk to the pawn shops locally and alert the owners to be on the lookout. If you ride at Keystone a lot, you might be able to spot it. This is a hard thing to go through and why you just can`t leave a board unattended for a second; there are dirtbags stalking resorts looking for this.
Again, sorry to hear this and good luck.

Sorry to hear.. I guess the sport is soo popular nowadays with many riders not giving a damn about the "snowboarding code of ethics".
