hey hiker! welcome to the world of snowboarding!
well, first advice for you, is to figure out what size and kind of board
you need, i can help with sizing and give recommendations on boards,
but im no boardshop employee.
its best to head out to a resort and rent a board and try a few
different ones out before you buy your own gear, just to make sure its
something you want to do.
how tall are you, what is your weight and boot size are questions for sizing.
where do you plan on boarding the most? in a park, or out on mountains, and what style?
alpine snowboarding, freestyle or freeriding?
there's a lot to snowboarding, but it doesnt take long to learn, most beginners can hit the slopes after 2-3 days.
the best way to learn about snowboarding is to read the information
section of this site, it tells you everything you need to know and more,
it taught me a lot of stuff i never knew!
Board On!
