I am new to snowboarding. I have been snowboarding twice, one in Dec and a few days ago. I rented equipment once from the resort and the other time I rented from my local ski shop. I''ve decided I would like to buy my own gear but the problem is my size. I am overweight, I already know that finding the perfect board for my 5''4 238lbs frame will be nearly impossible. At one resort they gave me a 145cm board! My local ski shop said that was terrible. The ski shop said for my weight i would need a 160cm board but the board is as tall if not taller than me. The ski shop gave me a 151cm board which I used and did pretty well with. The ski shop says 160cm is a lot of board for a beginner. I looked into the burton me nug at 150cm since its designed to be ridden shorter... the other options I saw was the burton bullet and clash 160cm. Should I stick with a 151cm board or go to 160cm... or am I just screwed either way?

For every comment I said to this forum I always emphasized comfort. Choose which board you are more comfortable with.
