FIS Ski World Cup Adelboden 2005
On Tuesday, 11th January 2005, the world's best downhill skiers meet in Adelboden, hoping for victory. Excitement is guaranteed with the giant slalom event on the legendary slope of Chuenisbärgli. This slope belongs to one of the toughest and most challenging in the world cup tour. The ski festival begins on Monday evening with a special show in the village. During the race, all the attention will be focused on the finishing area in Boden with the big stand and video screen, live music and entertainment, as well as the world cup village with its bars, many places to eat and carnival atmosphere. Without doubt, the Adelboden World Cup races are classics among the various events of the ski world, and are a magnet for over 15'000 spectators who come to this traditional ski festival.
