WINTER IN ANDALO

The hospitality of the people from Andalo, which has provided the village with 60 hotels and residences and numerous apartments, has also contributed to the resort's winter season development with the realization of many infrastructures for tourists keen on winter sports.

Many ski-lifts have been built and recently renovated following the technologic updating process so as to offer a ski area consisting of a 6-person gondola, three chair-lifts with 3 or 4 seats with automatic coupling, several up-to-date chair-lifts and some drag lifts for the beginners on the nursery slopes. In total there are 25 ski-lifts serving a carousel of 50-km runs of various difficulty that are all perfectly covered with snow thanks to the very modern programmed snow system reaching 60% of the whole ski area.

In Andalo, the amateurs of cross-country skiing can enjoy a 3-km track in the hollow of the Andalo lake that is lit by night until 10.00 p.m., and another 5-km concentric track passing through the surrounding fir-woods.

The lovers of ice sports will appreciate Andalo for the newly built ice stadium, near the Indoor swimming pool, where they can practise figure skating, ice hockey or simply skate for fun.

Together, all these tourist structures complete the proposal for the winter season.

EVENTS

Andalo Holiday Management also organises entertainments and a number of sporting events at Andalo. During the summer, with the backing of a team of entertainers, we offer activities at all times of the day and evening, with contributions from professional artists. The events include 'welcome evenings', orchestras, magicians, cabaret artists, mountain choirs, folk bands, classical music, puppet shows, dance groups, slides, country music festivals, variety performances, street artists, comedians, firework displays, and lots more.
