Flaine's Ski Area
Flaine is the gate to one of the biggest ski and snowboard areas in France, aptly named 'Le Grand Massif'. The ski and snowboard area is totally connected, boasting a modern high-performance system. Its altitude and geographical location guarantee exceptional snow conditions. From the easy skiing on the blue Cascade run (14 kms long!) to the off-piste skiing or snowboarding in the Combe de Gers, you will enjoy your favourite snowsport in a magnificent setting ...
Pratical infos
The resort centre is spread over three levels which are connected by two elevators and two pedestrian trails, 24 hrs a day.:
-Flaine-Forêt (1700m)
-Flaine-Forum (1600m)
-Flaine-Front de Neige (1500m)
The centre is kept car free. You are allowed to drive up to your doorstep to load and unload
The three areas offer direct access to lifts, slopes.
Just 2 kms outside the centre lies an enchanting hamlet made up of 70 luxury Scandinavian-style chalets "Le Hameau de Flaine".
A free shuttle service runs all day long between the resort centre, Le Hameau and Le Col de Pierre Carrée (Cross-country and walking trails)
