General:
Ski-Zillertal 3000 has been created thanks to the lift connection between Mayrhofen and Tux, further up the valley. A 150-person cable-car now links the two ski areas of Horberg/Gerent/Penken and Rastkogel/Eggalm.
62 top modern ski lifts give access to over 225km of immaculate ski runs for all ability levels. Skiable terrain includes everything from wide carving runs, off-piste skiing, moguls, nursery slopes, snowboard terrain park, ....
Top skiing conditions are guaranteed thanks to 117 state-of-the-art snow making facilities covering 169ha of ski runs!

The interlinked ski resorts of Hippach, Mayrhofen, Finkenberg and Tux offers pure, exhilarating fun for all ages. The state-of-the-art "150er Tux" gondola is unique in Austria and has an incredible capacity of 107,820 skiers per hour.

The people of the Zillertal valley are known for their warm hospitality and fondness for parties. A total of 30 mountain huts and restaurants offer great après-ski fun for everyone!
The "Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000" boasts a total of 67 top modern ski lifts giving access to over 233km of immaculate runs.
Hintertuxer glacier is serviced by shuttle bus from all resorts within the region. A new ski bus will operate from Finkenberg from October. (15 mins transfer time)
Ultimate skiing fun is guaranteed with the ski passes "Ski Zillertal 3000" or "Ski + Glacier World" and the "Zillertaler Super Ski Pass". Ski pass incl./excl. Hintertuxer glacier are available from one day, passes for the entire valley (177 ski lifts or gondolas, 620km of slopes) from 4 days.

Romantic forest path switchbacking to Gletscherblick inn – on to the hamlet of Astegg (1170 m); fantastic views!
Loop trail through "Glocke" nature preserve in town;
Beautiful trail past 2 small waterfalls to Greut farm or through lush pasturelands down to the valley and the hamlets of Au and Gstan; along the shores of Zemm river to the center of Mayrhofen
Schuhmannweg trail – ideal for the hottest of summer days; from Dornauhof in the hamlet of Dornau, forest trail to Gasthof Karlsteg and on to the small rural community of Ginzling.
Beautiful loop trail starting in Persal – footpath past the “Old Beech Tree” in the hamlet of Innerberg, short stretch along the road, cross Rosengarten bridge and continue to the hamlet of Brunnhaus; retrun via legendary Teufelsbrücke bridge (Dornau/Persal).
Route MB 49: Finkenberg - Astegg - Asteggertal valley
4 km of asphalt road from the Persal hamlet (13% gradient maximum) to Astegg village (1,170m). Turn left (direction: Penkenjoch) after 1.5 km and return to Finkenberg.
Length (one way): approx. 5 km
Vertical gain: approx. 500m

The Snow Park on Hintertuxer Glacier is located at Olperer t-bar lift! Pros and experts met at the legendary SPC camp. Wille Kaufmann, an experienced terrain park designer, has shaped the park from the eternal ice.
The parks is shaped in the summer and fall and the use is free of charge. The park features a halfpipe (50m), 2 table tops with 4 jumps, 2 beginner fun boxes, 25m spine fun box, 12m straight rail, A frame rail, 6m C rails, 4m straight rails (beginners). Superbly equipped!
