Honest - anyone who can sleep through a winter in Fügen is either dead tired or not really trying. Oh well, it's not all that bad.

Fügen-Fügenberg is no sad town, and that`s why all our guests have plenty of opportunity to indulge, and not just in their favorite sport. We`ve got a good 40 km of interesting ski trails and another 40 km of cross-country tracks, through snowy Alpine forests, across glistening white meadows.

But as we said, anybody who doesn`t take a holiday just for the sport of it will find more than enough holiday here at the beginning of what`s probably the most famous valley in the world, Tyrol`s Ziller Valley.

Whether you dance straight through the night in one of the four discos or prefer the hotel`s own discotheque, it doesn`t really matter. There`s plenty of action everywhere. With so much going on, there`s hardly enough room here to tell you about it all. But this much is for sure, the nights are always too short. And not even in the Ziller Valley can we do anything to change that. Maybe it`s just as well. After all, there are all those daytime activities waiting to be enjoyed. So on with the night-life! But don`t overdo it, or at least rest up for it first. Every holiday, every vacation, even one in Fügen and Fügenberg, has to come to an end sometime. And it would be a crying shame if, at the end, you saw you`d left out some of the best fun.

Skiing's not everything
It`s said that there are days when everything goes right, except your skis. That doesn`t matter one bit. And if you`re just plain not up to skiing someday, there`s still plenty else to do.

Wether you go to the skating rink, try a little curling, or just enjoy the day for what it is, and that in a horse-drawn sleigh, boredom will never set in. No matter what, it`s like they say: tehre`s something for everybody. And if worse comes to worst, you`ll always find somebody in the mood for a good old-fashioned snowball fight.

Who`s "Siggi"?
"Siggi" is that mischievous funloving rascal on skis. Wherever things even start to get dull, there he is. It's not enough that "Siggi" is a real clown. No, he`s got an infectious grin that doesn`t stop short of anyone. To tell you the truth, sometimes he`s a little too fun-loving. Still, all our guests are crazy about him. But then, you`ll find out all about these "good points" soon enough. Because you`re absolutely sure to meet up with him on one of the almost 40 km of downhill ski trails in Fügen and Fügenberg. Except maybe if you`re one of these real adventuresome ones and prefer ski touring. Then you probably won`t come across our ski-freak "Siggi".
