Glacier World & Ski Zillertal 3000
Zillertal´s largest ski area .....
.... extends from 630 meters to 3250 meters above sea level and boats a total of 225km of ski runs and 62 ski lifts.
Ski-Zillertal 3000 has been created thanks to the lift connection between Mayrhofen and Tux, further up the valley. A 150-person cable-car now links the two ski areas of Horberg/Gerent/Penken and Rastkogel/Eggalm. 62 top modern ski lifts give access to over 225km of immaculate ski runs for all ability levels. Skiable terrain includes everything from wide carving runs, off-piste skiing, moguls, nursery slopes, snowboard terrain park, .... Top skiing conditions are guaranteed thanks to 117 state-of-the-art snow making facilities covering 93ha of ski runs! Our ski runs were awarded the "Tirolean Seal of Quality"

The interlinked ski resorts of Hippach, Mayrhofen, Finkenberg and Tux offers pure, exhilarating fun for all ages. The state-of-the-art “150er Tux” gondola is unique in Austria and has an incredible capacity of 107, 820 skiers per hour. Family-friendly – inexpensive ski pass rates – great ski packages – discounts for children and youths – top ski schools - … The people of the Zillertal valley are known for their warm hospitality and fondness for parties. A total of 30 mountain huts and restaurants offer great après-ski fun for everyone!

Enjoy truly great skiing on Hintertuxer Glacier, one of Austria’s most beautiful year-round skiing areas (up to 3250m altitude).
The “Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000” boasts a total of 62 top modern ski lifts giving access to over 225km of immaculate runs. Hintertuxer glacier is serviced by shuttle bus from all resorts within the region. A new ski bus will operate from Finkenberg from October 01, 2004. (15 mins transfer time) Ultimate skiing fun is guaranteed with the ski pass “Ski + Glacier World” and the “Zillertaler Super Ski Pass”. Ski pass incl. Hintertuxer glacier are available from one day, passes for the entire valley (173 ski lifts or gondolas) from 4 days. A convincing offer?? Then come to the Ski Zillertal 3000 ski area!!! |
| Hiking | There are a lot of hiking trails in Finkenberg, for example: Berliner Höhenweg - total lenght - 42 km, Ascent: 2650 m, Descent: 2520m highest point: 3133m (Schönbichlerhorn) Lowest point 1782m (Schlegeisspeicher), walkable: from middle of June to beginning of October, Duration: 3-4 days, Character: high alpine hike. Mountaineers should be free of giddiness and should walk sure-footed at several sections!
