Catered Chalet Holidays to St. Anton
The Levett chalets are located in the quiet hamlet of Nasserein a stone's throw from the nursery slopes and ski lift and only yards from the starting point of several hiking paths. The resort centre is only 8-10 minutes away and therefore easily accessible for apres-ski, nightlife and shopping. The Levett Chalets epitomise the harmony between old and new that characterises St. Anton as a whole. The Old and the New consist of two separate and contrasting chalets under one roof. They share a ski and boot room and a sauna with two showers, which are accessed via a communal entrance hall, but otherwise operate as two completely independent units. Both chalets are equipped with wide-screen cable TV, video, PlayStation (PS1) and CD/cassette player. Internet access is available on request. All chalet staff live in.
The Old Chalet sleeps 8 (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms)
The original 17th century farm building oozes olde worlde charm, with wood panelling, thick stone walls and a traditional wood-burning stove in the living-room. In the dining-room, the table is set into an alcove, creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere. Please note that the staircase is the original wooden one with stairs that narrow at one end, so the chalet is not really suitable for very young or elderly guests.
The New Chalet sleeps 16/18 (4 ensuite bedrooms and 4 bedrooms sharing 3 bath/shower-rooms)
The original building was cleverly and sensitively extended in 1995 to form the New Chalet which, with its bright and airy rooms, has a very Scandinavian feel. The living-room occupies the entire end of the top floor, easily seating 18, while its large picture window frames the view of dominant mountain scenery. Both the living-room and dining-room feature very flamboyant and colourful Kacheloefen - traditional wood-burning stoves - but as the chalet boasts an extremely efficient central heating system, these are for aesthetic purposes only! Several refurbishments have been over the last two years to make this chalet an exceptionally comfortable and spacious holiday home.
