Trails and Routes

Skiing  Carving - the pleasure of skiing is back!

This season too, the carvers will form the majority on the pistes of the Planai and Hochwurzen. In order to better suit the requirements of the long carving turns, much pleasure can now be had on our considerably widened pistes.

As a result of the positive feedback we received after considerably widening the FIS Planai Run, we are now working on widening Run 32 at Hochwurzen.Snowboarding  For a long time now, the Planai has been a meeting point for snowboarders. Alpine, freeride, freestyle and also backcountry riders find the pistes of the Planai and Hochwurzen offer ideal conditions. Alpine riders are taken to the top of the Streiche run (Piste no.1)by the new 6 man chairlift. And for everyone who still wants more at the end of the day, there is a 3km long floodlit piste at Hochwurzen at their disposal.Wide pistes and a moderate gradient allow everyone (just about everyone) to succeed in making wide open curves down the mountain. Freestylers and freeriders usually head to the Larchkogel lift, Burgstal lift and the Mitterhausalm. Cornices, kickers and deep snow runs are to be found there. The Krahbergzinken and the summit south of Hochwurzen are known as the secret areas for snowboard tourers.
