In Stubai, we have one of the most striking and highest mountain valleys in Tyrol – The Stubai Glacier. It is the most beautiful all year round skiing resort in Austria. Having a holiday in Neustift is like leaping into a superlative winter landscape. Professional sports enthusiasts, families, and romantic winter dreamers, know that they are definitely in good hands.
Ski hikers, cross-country skiers and skaters, glide on a total of 130 km snowy courses, of which 4,5 km is situated on the Stubai Glacier. 6 different toboggan courses have been prepared to make tobogganing more exhilarating.
Every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night, the “Nightrider” and fanatical toboggan riders dash off on the “Elfe”, which is a 9 km long natural toboggan course. Para glider and hang glider also have the opportunity to fly on their own or with professional help and enjoy the magnificent views of the winter landscapes.

The Stubai glacier is one of 5 mighty glaciers in Austria. It consists of the largest glacial skiing resort and is an absolute winter must. Experienced skiers, carvers, telemarkers, and snowboarders can get the very best out of winter sports in Tyrol with over 100km of sensational courses and 24 modern lifts.
The Stubai glacier offers limitless winter exhilaration with wide, welcoming glacier slopes, daring courses, knee-deep snow slopes, a 100 m long half pipe, novice slopes for snow boarders and skiers, and the longest high mountain touring route in Austria.
The Jochohle is the highest lying mountain restaurant in Austria and is situated at a height of 3.300 m. Here you get a real appreciation of that mountain peak feeling. The “Zur goldenen Gams” at Gamsgarten is an alternative meeting place for skiers, sunbathers and glacier hikers.
The whole ski resort, umbrella bars, ski huts and comfortable sun terraces welcomes everyone to join in the fun.
Public transport is available free of charge from October to May for visitors in possession of a guest card. |

850 km of hiking trails with nature at her best are at the hiking enthusiasts disposal. Our motto is “ Wunderbar & wanderbar” (a wonderful and great walk). Walk along the valley, past roaring waterfalls, in the alpines richest regions. There are over 50 cosy huts en route to the eternal ice at 3000 m altitude. |

As to our newly build 8 seated gondola lift „Schaufeljoch on the Stubai Glacier, we have excellently extended the comfort for all skiers, boarders and hikers. |
