The ways of love are strange...

For some, their love is for a woman, some love sport, and others winter and the moutains, the creaking of the snow-covered underwood and the dry swishing sound of the "boards" on powder snow. Those wanting to discover the winter away from the pistes will enjoy being chauffered up to a mountain hut by horse and sleigh, or can go tobogganing by night, curling or undertake a ski or cross-country tour through the untouched, snow-covered winter forest. That spring feeling can certainly be found by siiting in a deckchair on a wooden bench in front of a mountain hut and enjoying the sunshine and blue skies.

Here, there is plenty of space and enough snow for skiing. Filzmoos - is "a natural holiday with fun on the piste" for lovers of wintersports in all its forms.

With the 4-man chair-lift up onto the Grossberg or with the Papageno Gondola up onto the Rossbrand and then ski back down into the village right back to your front door.

The high alpine trail on the Rossbrand and the trails in the valley offer the cross-country skiers opportunity to practice skating as well as classic. Our neighbouring village of Ramsau is a paradise for cross-country skiers.
